I was confused because aseprite's debug log report the same file system path in both x86 and 圆4 logs, C:\Windows\SYSTEM32\wintab32.dll. If you can guide me on how to debug it (actually the IDE doesn't matter at all, I just need a graphical way to set breakpoints and step into/over/out of things) I'll try to find my way. I'm willing to debug this, but I couldn't manage yet to build aseprite via visual studio 2019 community (generating a solution file with cmake -G "Visual Studio 16 2019"), I could only build using ninja. But what intrigues me is not the fact that it crashes randomly, but the fact that this never happened before I cloned aseprite's master branch, compiled it from source, tried to run a custom build and then, only then, the crashes started both on the custom build and my untouched steam version. I'll admit my tablet is probably buggy, be it hardware, software, or both. I also have a copy of pro motion ng on steam but I couldn't find yet any option to switch the tablet api used, but pro motion ng does detect my pressure. I'm Attaching a screenshot of the tablet api options in krita for reference. Where do I find the dll my tablet uses? If it just replaces /c/Windows/System32/WinTab32.dll, them my md5sum is e8b6ce4f168bf38255a5d3ccbb1e36a3 I was using wintab on krita, wich is the default option, but I was surpised to see that using win8 pointer api (windows ink) also works on krita. I dont know what other software I can test this. The pressure does not work with the win8 pointer api on aseprite, but it does work at least on krita. I'm using the latest drivers but I'm pretty sure the the driver's quality should be as cheap as the hardware itself (I shouldn't spit in the plate I eat since this tablet has served me well for a very long time). The manufacturer site does not have a product page (at least not today, maybe it had nine years ago), only a support page whithout product info I'm using a "Genius EasyPen i405X" tablet I bought circa 2011, a very cheap (in many ways) chinese tablet which is probably not in production anymore. Sometimes loading via menu do not crash but it crashes while trying to create a new document. The crash on start happens almost always whereas the crash via menu has a low chance of crashing but it does crash sometimes. In fact while recording the video I could'nt make it crash but later while generating the debug logs I managed to make it crash via the menu. Things like crashing while loading wintab via menu or loading wintab but pressure not working also occurred.". In my first message I mentioned that "When it started happening (.). But I realized that right after a system restart I always had this same behavior, where the normal launch fails but the launch with -disable-wintab + loading wintab via menu succeeds. Things like crashing while loading wintab via menu or loading wintab but pressure not working also occurred. When it started happening the behavior was much less predictable than just "launch with -disable-wintab then enable it on the menu". After this, the crash behavior also started occurring with my steam build even though I haven't touched the steam application directory for aseprite. It did compile successfully but crashed upon start, so I had to run this custom build with the -disable-wintab cli flag. This started happening after I cloned the master branch and tried for the first time compiling and running from source. Previously my aseprite steam build did not present this behavior on my machine, with the same OS and aseprite versions. The following video illustrates the problem. Describe your bug report or feature request hereĪseprite crash upon launch (probably while loading wintab) but do not crash while loading wintab while the application is running. This difference is unavoidable since any mechanical system is exposed to the fluctuation of the environmental and mechanical operating factors (temperature, load, speed, friction, etc.).Īny industrial lubricant’s viscosity is often found to be quoted in manufacturer’s catalog in terms of the standardized unit. Thereby, it can be inexplicably understood that the laboratory measured viscosity is dramatically different than the viscosity which is effective inside the system during operation. In addition, lubricant’s chemical make-ups and any alteration to it during operation are some of other important causes to influence a lubricant’s effective viscosity. These influences in turn depends on friction, load, speed, and machine operating environments. Lubricant’s viscosity may be physically and/or chemically affected by a number of factors however, some of the prominent influencing agents are temperature, pressure, and shear stress. However, what is often overlooked in such easy comprehension on lubricant’s viscosity is the gap between the effective viscosity and quoted (laboratory measured) viscosity of any lubricant. Primary purpose of any industrial lubricant is to maintain a satisfactory lubricating film in between contacting surfaces and importance of viscosity to achieve this is univocally known in industrial maintenance practices. I newly turned 30, and while I am not concerned with wrinkles at present, I do travel a lot and want to think about my skin early and how I want to age. Lastly, it features a patented hyaluronic acid poly-filler, which is an active ingredient inspired by dermatological injections.ĭior’s Madagascar flower fields, where Capture Totale Serum’s Longaza ingredient is sourced. It also includes Longaza, an ingredient that grows in the Dior gardens in Madagascar and is said to be responsible for regenerative properties that firm and lift the skin over time. Iris is the heart of the serum’s technology and gives the skin a glow while shielding it from UVA rays. The star of the show is this formula’s flower ingredient, which is an iris-root extract sourced directly from Dior’s flower fields in Tuscany. Plus, all that went into creating the new serum. Lab coat on, I toured the facilities and got schooled on all things skin care, including learning nitty-gritty details on cell rejuvenation and how the packaging is perfected. I joined the 250-plus team of researchers and got to play scientist for the day. The sunlit factory is decked out with several laboratories dedicated to chemistry, biology, and microscopic research for the formulation of all Dior products. I traveled to the LVMH skin-care labs in Orleans, France, to learn more about it. To put this all to the test, Dior used its 600-person skin-care team to improve one of its best products: the Capture Totale serum. It will hopefully help those within the industry too, like Sean Garrette, Dior’s global skin-care expert: “So many times I am asked questions such as “Is this product for Black skin?” or “Can I use this product if I have dark skin?” Garrette thinks it will help everyone to understand their skin’s unique nuances. The goal? To be more inclusive for all skin tones. A first for the skin-care industry, the system was developed after testing 600 subjects worldwide. Platform, which, unlike Fitzpatrick, has 110 different skin types and pantones to classify skin and measure against a formula’s efficacy. Most recently, Dior launched its new T.O.T.A.L.E. Beyond cosmetics, studies show that darker skin tones are statistically more prone to hyperpigmentation, melasma, and more, so our skin needs are inherently and biologically different. I’ve been told to do specific treatments, only to find out later that they haven’t been tested on melanated skin tones and can damage them. So it makes total sense why I, as a Black woman, am constantly questioning if products will work for my skin tone. First developed in 1975, it concerns only six skin types and tones. Most of the beauty industry’s production is based on the Fitzpatrick Scale. _What does it mean when a guy says, "Call me," but doesn't give you his phone number? -Jana, Tex. Perhaps you should ask yourself: When was the last time you two did something new together? Or went somewhere you've never been before? It's important in any relationship to constantly create new experiences and memories to keep that bond strong and alive. Whenever things get dull, I ask myself: When was the last time I did something for the first time? I despise routine, so I try to live my life with that mantra in mind. What can we do to keep our relationship not boring? -Silvia, Ill. _My boyfriend and I have been dating for more than three years, and I feel like we've stopped growing. Freud could have written a thick, shiny, glossy book about it, but I think what it all ultimately boils down to is that your hair helps men define their role: Me Tarzan, you Jane. I think you should be flattered that guys adore your crowning glory as opposed to other weird and unconventional body parts, like your belly button or something. Hair is a symbol usually associated with femininity and power. Do all straight men harbor secret Rapunzel fantasies? What's going on? -Jenna, Ky. Why on earth are men so fascinated by women's hair? Every guy I've ever dated seems obsessed with it. My advice: Talk through both his list of fears and yours, and if neither of you is willing to make changes, clearly neither of you is ready to move in together. I have female friends who keep dozens-if not hundreds-of makeup brushes in their bathrooms. You're afraid of his game collection? Well, guess what: He's scared of drowning in your sea of shoes. Gurl, tell it like it is! When it comes to living spaces, a woman should never, ever be one of the boys! Moving in together means changes for everyone involved. How do I tell him that as much as I'd like to live with him, a dude's pad just isn't for me? -Marie, Calif. I love the idea, but he has a roommate, and they have such a "boy" apartment-video games everywhere, no food in the fridge, even swords on the walls. However, this is not the only application of LanguageLeapAI. They can also speak English and the Japanese teammates will instead hear the translated Japanese speech generated by Voicevox. LanguageLeapAI's target audience is for users who want to chat with another but do not speak the same language.Īn example is an English-speaking user playing an online game in the Japan server but wants to use voice chat despite not knowing Japanese.īy running both subtitler.py and voice_translator.py, they can understand their fellow Japanese teammates by reading the english subtitles generated in real time. This English text is then displayed on screen using python's tkinter module, essentially acting as subtitles. Once it has detected that a phrase/sentence is complete, it saves the audio into a wav file and sends it to WhisperAI's translate endpoint which translates the speech from the target language to English. The second, subtitler.py, records your application's audio output and listens in the background for any speech. Thorsten has been added as a German TTS program. However, Voicevox can be replaced with any other text to speech program that can speak your desired language for limitless possibilities. Since Voicevox only takes in Japanese text as input and generates speech in Japanese, the project is technically only limited to Japanese as the target language. This file is then played to your target application's microphone input and your speakers/headphones. The translated text is then sent to Voicevox which performs text-to-speech and generates an audio file voiced in Japanese. Once this key is released, it saves your voice in an audio file which is then sent to WhisperAI's transcribe endpoint which runs Automatic Speech Recognition (ASR) on it.Īfter a response containing your speech as text is received, this text is then translated using DeepL's REST API. The first, voice_translator.py, records your microphone whenever a push-to-talk key is held down on the keyboard. LanguageLeapAI is made up of 2 main python programs. If DeepL is unavailable in your country, an option to use Google Translate instead is available. WhisperAI and Voicevox both have docker images available on DockerHub, so we will be building and running them both via a Docker Compose file.ĭeepL can be interacted with by signing up for a free plan and interacting with its REST API up to 500,000 character limit / month.
